Ticket and event terms
These terms apply to purchases of first-party tickets for Stockholm Oktoberfest and to visits to the event. Mandatory consumer law always takes precedence over these terms.
Last updated: 21 August 2026
1. The Organiser and contact details
The agreement is entered into with Stockholms Oktoberfest AB, Swedish company registration number 556842-5432 (the “Organiser”). Registered address: Im Hafengiesser 2, 88662 Überlingen, Germany. Email: info@stockholm-oktoberfest.se. Telephone: +46 (0)76 746 50 09.
If the ticket is sold by an expressly identified reseller, the reseller’s own terms may also apply to payment and delivery. These terms govern the visit and the Organiser’s part of the ticket agreement.
2. Agreement, ticket and purchase confirmation
A binding agreement is formed when the purchase has been approved and a purchase confirmation has been sent to the email address supplied by the purchaser. The purchaser is responsible for checking that the contact details, event, date, time, ticket category and quantity are correct, and must contact the Organiser without undue delay if anything is incorrect.
Each QR code or equivalent ticket code is unique and may only be used once. The first valid scan takes precedence. Duplicate tickets do not entitle the holder to additional admission. If a ticket is lost or unavailable, the purchaser must contact the ticket provider or the Organiser; a replacement ticket can only be issued if the purchase and the ticket’s continuing validity can be verified.
3. Prices and payment
All prices are stated in Swedish kronor and include applicable value added tax. Mandatory fees must be shown before the purchase is completed. Payment is processed in accordance with the payment or ticket provider identified at checkout.
The Organiser may correct obvious typographical, pricing and system errors before an agreement is entered into. An agreement already entered into will not be changed unilaterally because of a price change. In the event of an obvious error that the purchaser realised or reasonably should have realised, the Organiser will contact the purchaser to arrange a correction or refund.
4. No right of withdrawal or voluntary cancellation
The ticket concerns a leisure activity on a specific date or during a specific period. The statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under the Swedish Distance Contracts Act therefore does not normally apply. A purchase cannot be cancelled, exchanged or refunded because of changed plans, illness, missed transport or another circumstance attributable to the purchaser, unless mandatory law, specific cancellation protection or the ticket information expressly states otherwise.
5. Tables, seating and arrival
Only a ticket or package that expressly includes seating entitles the holder to a reserved seat. Book early for the best position. The Organiser will try to seat tickets under the same booking name together, but cannot guarantee that supplementary purchases can be seated at the same table.
On Thursday and Friday, standard reserved seats are held for 1.5 hours after opening and VIP seats for 2.5 hours. On Saturday, standard seats are held until 17:00 and VIP seats until 18:00. After that, the seat may be offered to another guest. Late arrival does not entitle the guest to a refund. Admission is always subject to ticket validity, security checks and requirements imposed by the authorities.
6. Admission, identification and removal
Guests must be able to present a valid ticket and, when reasonably requested by the Organiser, valid physical identification. Alcohol is not served to anyone under the age of 18 or to anyone who is visibly intoxicated.
The Organiser and authorised security staff may refuse admission to or remove anyone who is visibly intoxicated, threatening, violent or disruptive, poses a safety risk, attempts to use an invalid ticket, or fails to comply with these terms, the law, official decisions or reasonable staff instructions. No refund will be issued when refusal or removal results from the guest’s own conduct.
7. Bags, cloakroom and valuables
Bags may be brought into the tent, but all bags are inspected at the security checkpoint at the entrance. Use of the cloakroom is optional and costs SEK 30 per item. If the price has changed since these terms were published, the current price clearly displayed at the venue will apply.
Do not leave cash, jewellery, electronics, keys, medicines or other valuables in checked items. Storage is at the guest’s own risk. However, the Organiser is responsible for loss or damage caused by the Organiser’s negligence or where otherwise required by mandatory law. Where possible, loss or damage must be reported to the cloakroom before the guest leaves the venue.
8. Conduct and safety rules
- Outside food and drink may not be brought into the venue. Exceptions may be made for documented medical needs; contact the Organiser in advance.
- Weapons, narcotics, pyrotechnics and other dangerous or illegal items are prohibited.
- Animals are not permitted. Assistance dogs will be considered after contacting the Organiser, taking safety and applicable law into account.
- Clothing, vests, back patches, symbols or messages that, following a specific safety assessment, may be perceived as threatening, discriminatory or disruptive may be refused.
- Smoking and e-cigarettes are only permitted in designated areas.
- Standing, walking or dancing on tables is prohibited. Standing or dancing on benches is at the guest’s own risk and is only permitted when consistent with staff instructions and safety requirements.
- Glassware may not be taken out of the tent or into areas where staff prohibit glass. Souvenir glasses may be purchased in the souvenir shop but must be handled in accordance with staff instructions.
9. Alcohol and responsible participation
Drink responsibly and never more than you can handle. The Organiser complies with the Swedish Alcohol Act and may refuse or discontinue the serving of alcohol. Guests are responsible for their own decisions and conduct. Participation involves the normal risks associated with large crowds, high noise levels, dancing and the serving of alcohol. Hearing protection is recommended when needed.
10. Programme and operational changes
Advertised performers, programme elements, menus, seating arrangements and opening hours may need to be adjusted. The Organiser may make reasonable changes that do not materially diminish the event. A minor change to the schedule, programme or seating does not entitle the ticket holder to a refund. In the event of a material change, entitlement to a price reduction, rebooking or refund will be assessed in accordance with the law and the circumstances of the individual case.
11. Rescheduled, interrupted or cancelled event
If the event is moved to another date or time, the purchaser may choose to accept the change or request a refund of the ticket price. If the Organiser cancels the event, the ticket price will be refunded in accordance with mandatory consumer law, including where the cause is extreme weather, a storm, a terrorist threat, a decision by the authorities or another event outside the Organiser’s control.
If the event is only partially held or is interrupted, any refund or price reduction will be determined by the proportion of the contracted service that was not provided and by the requirements of law. Refunds are normally made to the original payment method. Indirect costs, such as travel, accommodation or lost earnings, will not be reimbursed when an event is outside the Organiser’s control, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
12. Liability
The Organiser is liable for direct loss or damage caused by the Organiser’s negligence and for liability arising under mandatory law. The Organiser is not liable for loss or damage caused by a guest’s breach of these terms, a guest’s negligence, another guest or a circumstance outside the Organiser’s reasonable control, unless the Organiser has failed to take reasonable safety or duty-of-care measures.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for personal injury caused intentionally or negligently, or any other right that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Photography and filming
Wide shots and footage may be taken at the event for documentation, news reporting and marketing. Consent will be obtained where required, particularly for clearly identifiable close-ups. Tell the photographer or contact the Organiser if you do not wish to appear in a close-up. Read more about the processing of personal data in the privacy policy.
14. Complaints and disputes
Submit a complaint as soon as possible after discovering a fault by emailing info@stockholm-oktoberfest.se. Include the booking number, contact details and a clear description of the problem. Any delay will affect your rights only to the extent provided by law.
If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, a consumer may refer it to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN), Box 174, SE-101 23 Stockholm. Swedish law applies, without depriving a consumer of the protection afforded by mandatory law in their country of residence. A dispute may also be heard by a competent court of general jurisdiction.
15. Changes and invalid provisions
The version in force when the purchase was made applies to the ticket agreement. The Organiser may update the terms for future purchases. If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions are unaffected; the provision will instead be applied to the fullest extent permitted by law.
